| Artist's Statement: |
| I moved back to the city of St. Paul this past year from a ten year hiatus in the suburbs. One result is I get to experience more lighting at night, in particular, how the light affects buildings with character. What intrigued me about this scene was the harsh but warm light on the exterior of the building, which shows off the beautiful orange-red brick, framed at the top by the silhouette of a street trees’ branches. This is in contrast to the subdued lighting of the interior world of a bar, late on a quiet Sunday night. |
