| Artist's Statement: |
| Near the end of summer the shadows start to lengthen, and one place this is very noticeable is on a street. Yet at the same time of day, the shadows on the Cathedral are short and almost absent since its architectural features face directly into the light. The stone changed colors every couple of minutes just before sundown---I caught the last warm golden tones just before it changed to a cool rosy pink. |
