| Artist's Statement: |
| The lighting at night of the Cathedral is sculptural---many evenings the sky and the dark copper-clad dome almost blend together. What strikes me is how the lighting seems to carve the features of the dome out of thin air. I chose such a close view to emphasize this drama. |
