First Annual Juried Plein-Air Art Project: July 29 - October 2, 2005

(St. Paul MN / 26 July 2005) Local Color on Cathedral Hill takes pleasure in announcing the winning artists who will participate in the first annual "Four Corners & the Cathedral: a study of light & place,"  On Friday, July 29, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, the following artists will start painting at their easels on the four cornrs of Selby and Western Avenues, launching a two-month summer arts project outside Local Color, 165 Western Avenue, St. Paul, phone 651-227-7701.

"FOUR CORNERS & THE CATHEDRAL: a study of light & place"

From Friday, July 29, through Sunday, October 2, these artists will work outdoors (plein-air) on the intersection of Selby and Western creating a minimum of five artworks, reflecting the light, color and ambiance of Cathedral Hill. They will be working in two-dimensional applied media (oil, acrylic, watercolor and pastel). Each of the artists will be fully supplied with art materials provided by Local Color.
