JENNIFER AWES - Acrylic & Oil
Jennifer Awes graduated from Bethel University with B. A. in Theatre Arts, with an Art History minor, where she currently works as the Theatre Production Manager. She also illustrates books; the most recent, Hooray for Minnesota Winters, will be published this fall. "I am very interested in the way the mind uses and processes language, as well as in the relationship between word and image. In the same vein, my book art is inspired by the traditions of icons and illuminated manuscripts."
