SHAWN MCCANN - Oil

As a graduate of the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, Shawn McCann has continued to explore nature through his paintings. From the raw atmosphere of urban architecture, to the raw splendor of Midwest landscapes, Shawn embraces the tranquility and calm in a rural setting, and the vivaciousness of a city street.

It is easy to see how Expressionism and Impressionism were the strongest influences on Shawn as he earned his BFA degree. His work has been included in a number of exhibitions around the country and has many paintings held in private collections. Currently Shawn lives in Shoreview, MN.
